1. C-LOP is launched

    C-LOP is a capacity building initiative for the sustained and targeted learning of government officials. We partner with the Department of Personnel and Training to collaborate with ministries, departments and organisations within governments on training initiatives across the country.

  2. C-LOP team visits LABASNAA

    December 2019

    This was the first meeting with LBSNAA to discuss the categorisation of content and the plans for the pre-foundation course.

  3. Collaboration with LBSNAA to design courses for flipped learning

    February 2020

    The aim of this partnership was to pilot the transition of the pre-foundation course to a blended model. The team worked with faculty at LBSNAA via workshops and webinars to ideate with them through this transition.

  4. National Program for Civil Service Capacity Building Implementation Workshop

    March 2020

    The C-LOP team attended a workshop alongside members from the DoPT, ISTM, LBSNAA and other project partners to chalk out the key components of Mission Karmayogi and the role of each partner in actualising it. 

  5. Webinar series on creating and running online courses designed and conducted

    June 2020

    C-LOP in collaboration with J-PAL Global organised a series of webinars through June 2020 for officials from the Indian government. This series was geared to support government training institutes as they transitions to a centralised online learning platform to build the capacity of their officers.

  6. Course authoring tool created

    June 2020

    The course authoring tool was developed to enable the creation of high quality gontent on the iGOT Karmayogi platform. As state and central training institutes begin using the platform for trainings this tool will serve as a blueprint for maintining quality standards.

  7. Preliminary discussions on assessments and FRAC

    August 2020

    Concept note for assessments were prepared as part of the policy document detailing the FRAC approach. 

  8. First version of FRAC approach paper released

    September 2020

    The Framework of roles, activities and competencies or FRAC will enable government MDOs to build an accurate picture of their competency building requirements and assist officials in understanding the competencies they require and how they can acquire them.
